  1. Welcome to the HyperStudio® Preview Disk!

  3. Note: Select "Print" from the File menu if you want to print this document.

  5. The HyperStudio Preview disk must be installed on your hard drive. You will need about 2.5 MB of disk space available. It is also recommended that the preview be viewed on a color Macintosh.

  7. Special Note: This preview version of HyperStudio allows you to save any artwork you create by using the "Save Screen" feature in HyperStudio's "File" menu. This means you can use this preview as a FREE PAINT PROGRAM! ( What a deal!!! )

  9. Installing to your Hard Drive:
  10.  
  11. • Double-click the “Preview Installer” file located on this disk.
  12. • Select “Continue” in the information dialog box; when the second dialog appears, locate your hard drive (if not already selected).
  13. • Once you’ve located your hard drive, click once on the button called “Save”. This begins the installation process.
  14. • After installation has been successful, you’ll be returned to the Finder (the desktop). From there, open the folder titled “HyperStudio Preview”. 
  15. • Locate the File titled “HyperStudio Preview” and double-click this file. This begins the HyperStudio preview.

  17. Creating Your Own Project:

  19. You can create projects just as you would with the regular version of HyperStudio. We’ve included several sound files that you can use in your project. There’s also picture of the U.S.A. you can use as a background and a clip art file.

  21. Making Copies of this Disk...
  22.  
  23. We encourage you to share this HyperStudio preview disk! Give a copy to your friends, user group, mom, or whoever might be interested in trying out HyperStudio. Please include this "Read Me" file with any copies you distribute. We do ask, of course, that you do not make copies of the real version of HyperStudio. This would not be nice, nor legal.
